Music of the Planets
This album was born out of a series of workshops my partner, Kim Kessaris and I did together. I wanted to bring the energies of the archetypes through the music to speak directly to the listeners. May you receive the message your Soul is sending you through the music from the planets.
I’m so excited! On May 19th I’m releasing my first single from my tribute EP to Dolly Parton!
When I was 13 years old, I recorded a demo tape (yes, I said tape. It was a long time ago!) and this song was on it. I gave it to Dolly the second time I met her when my stepdad, Peter Marshall, host of the original Hollywood Squares, took me to the set of “9 to 5.” A week later, she called me to tell me what she thought about my demo tape. She said, “Well, hello star! You sound like a cross between me, Linda Ronstadt and Barbra Streisand!” I had so much fun recording “Two Doors Down” again!
I don’t play any instruments, so I recorded all the tracks using Logic Pro. The only live instrument played on this track is the mandolin, played by Luke Moller. And my voice, of course!
